Reporting to the Director, Marketing, the Indigenous Enrolment Consultant leads the development and implementation of our strategic approach to Indigenous recruitment through collaboration with academic, operational, and administrative stakeholders across the College as well as Indigenous community connections. The Indigenous Enrolment Consultant will design strategic enrolment strategies tailored to meet prospective Indigenous learner’s needs, focusing on removing barriers to education.

**HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE**
- Lead the development of an Indigenous enrolment strategy that actions and supports commitments in the College’s strategic plan, integrating Indigenous culture and wisdom.
- Implement priorities contained within the College’s Strategic Enrolment Management Plan to advance Indigenous enrolment and success through defined strategy and actions balancing academic and operational needs.
- Identify opportunities and provide guidance for improvement to policies, procedures, and practices that impact prospective and current Indigenous learners.
- Work closely with the Strategic Enrolment Management (SEM) Committees and operational areas to provide recommendations on how to achieve Indigenous enrolment initiatives advancing success for these learners.
- Support annual enrolment planning for Indigenous learners as a member of the College’s SEM committee.
- Work collaboratively across the college to identify, develop, and strengthen partnerships with Indigenous stakeholders and communities.
- Identify and monitor key metrics to evaluate the impact of enrolment initiatives and activities.
- Support regional stewardship relationship management with Indigenous communities, community agencies, economic development agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate with Marketing and Communications on initiatives supporting Indigenous enrolment to ensure that language, approach, and tactics are complementary, culturally reflective and aligned.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with other post-secondary institutions for the purposes of understanding and sharing information on transferability and laddering to and from NorQuest College programs and other institutions.
- Identify and coordinate with Marketing and Communications to develop supports, materials, and resources for Indigenous applicants that help to remove critical barriers to participation within post-secondary.
- Develop ways to inform, educate, and engage internal stakeholders and operational areas in Indigenous enrolment initiatives and activities, sharing knowledge and wisdom.
**WHAT YOU BRING**
- Degree in a related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in a progressively senior leadership role.
- Familiarity with Alberta’s K-12 and/or Post-Secondary education system.
- Familiarity with Alberta Indigenous communities, including First Nations, Métis, and Inuit.

**SALARY**:$77,122 - $96,373 reflective upon what you bring AKA your education and experience. This is a full-time permanent position with immediate access to our great pension and benefit programs.
