**Job Summary**:
**Overview**: We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and talented **Event Planner** with exceptional people skills to join our events team. As the **Event Planner**, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the events.

Now, if you were to come on board as one of our **Event Planners**, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, associates and suppliers.
- Hire, train and schedule associates and be actively involved in the development of service.
- Ensure each Wedding function is well planned and prepared, successfully carried-out and financially sound.
- Ensure specifications and requests of each Wedding event are communicated and executed down the channel effectively.
- Identify and resolve event issues to minimize complications.

- ** Strong catering industry experience working within hotels or catering companies**:

- ** Strong hands on and planning experience of the event planning process as well with weddings.]**:

- ** Well-rounded at all stages of: Client Management, Planning, Execution, Closure & Follow up)**:

- Customer focused: a friendly, outgoing personality with a genuine interest in providing excellent customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Effectively manage time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently
- Superior attention to detail
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships and work cooperatively with team members
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing work priorities
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
