**PAYROLL SPECIALIST**

**9300 Trans Canada Route, St-Laurent, QC, H4S 1K5**

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for overseeing the processing of many company payrolls including salaried and hourly employees. Ensures accurate calculation of wages, tax withholdings, and company deductions. Responsible for proper governmental reporting and compliance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collect and process full cycle of payrolls for Canadian hourly, salaried, and non-union employees
- Collecting weekly timesheets for hourly
- Enter new hires and termination in ADP
- Verify and process payroll information following labour regulations
- Submit month-end journal entries for divisions in ADP
- Ensure that all salaries are paid accurately and in a timely fashion
- Prepare forms in ADP, such as records of employment, income tax forms, and remittances
- Process year-end T4’s
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of payroll functions for audit purposes, in accordance with statutory requirements
- Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure pay and personnel records are accurate and up to date
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information and demonstrate a high level of professionalism in dealing with sensitive issues

**Requirements**:

- Experience with ADP Workforce now
- Experience with Canada Wide payroll, including WCB, CNESST, WSIB
- Analytical and Mathematical Skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of payroll experience

- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Montréal, QC H4S 1K5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
