We are hiring a **Front Desk/Student Services Assistant** for our Brampton Campus.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Greeting students and clients and directing them to the appropriate department.
- Welcoming on-site visitors and notifying appropriate personnel about the visitors.
- Answering and transferring phone calls to the appropriate person, taking messages.
- Observing the front door entrance, keeping the area quiet and safe.
- Maintaining order, reminding students of rules and regulations; resolving conflicts and reporting conflicts appropriately.
- Monitoring the operation of the photocopier; taking payment from students for any photocopies.
- Photocopying, printing, faxing, and scanning documents for administrative staff and instructors.
- Keeping a record of books checked-in and checked-out and collecting payments from students.
- Maintaining the general filing system and filing correspondence where appropriate.
- Making phone calls to students and clients as requested by the administration.
- Performing general administrative work upon request from instructors or administrators.
- Ordering office supplies as necessary.
- Opening and/or closing the campus.
- Supporting with Student Services Administrative tasks.
- Conducting calls and booking meetings for Student Services department.
- Providing Student Services Communication to Study Body.
- Other Student Services Department tasks as required.

**Education and Qualifications/Skills**:

- Post-secondary education, university degree preferred.
- Previous experience working in education preferably in post-secondary sector is an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and critical thinking.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English.
- Team player with a client-centric mindset and positive attitude.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
