'''Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees. This is a critical role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of payroll processes and systems.
**Responsibilities**:
- Processing of payroll on a bi-weekly basis
- Updating employee files: rates, terminations, ROE, benefits, etc.
- Produce payroll with our payroll system (ADP).
- Collaborating in the administration of the group insurance plan for employees
- Producing reports for our accounting department (payroll journals, allocation report, vacation accrual report, etc)
- Provide assistance to employees regarding payroll questions and benefits information and assist with benefit claim issues or concerns
- Record and reconcile vacation, personal time, and sick leave to ensure accurate tracking
- Responding to inquiries from employees
- Year-end reporting and filing
- Occasionally helping to enter invoices for the Accounts Payable team
- Other tasks or special projects as needed
**Requirements**:
- 3-5 years’ experience in payroll processing
- Certification from the Canadian Payroll Association or Payroll Compliance Practitioner accreditation
- Bilingual (spoken and written) in both English and French
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Discretion required given sensitive information
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize to meet people and business demands
- Strong interpersonal skills
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $42,794.63-$68,992.09 per year
