**Job Description**:
The Sales Operations Specialist will be part of a team providing sales operation support as well as order management oversight. The role will also act as the primary point of contact for an assigned team within Sales to provide standard sales support responsibilities, the Sales Operations Specialist will also be responsible for reviewing contracts for accuracy, monitoring reports, internal customer issue resolution and providing recommendations to ensure they comply with company policy. The role will own the process for validating and booking accepted sales orders in accordance with Informa's compliance Policies. The role requires collaboration with several teams across the company including Operations, Marketing, Finance and Sales.

This position is a team contributor reporting to the Business Development Director

**Responsibilities**
- Contributes to creating, updating, and auditing reports and dashboards across the Informa Connect brands - events and media.
- Prepares custom reports and analysis by brand. Experience in Excel is required.
- Learn our end-to-end Sales process in order to train incoming Sales team members in Salesforce. Will become our first line of defense to help any Sales team members trouble shoot questions and escalate any issues that are of high priority.
- Assists A/P, Credit and Collections team to research billing inquires, assist with outstanding payments
- Works across business functions and Salesforce support teams to adjust fields and workflows, identify and fix potential issues, adjust territory divisions.
- Review Commission Claims and prepare reports for Claims to be submitted
- Troubleshoots and solve problems within Salesforce and other related sales platforms/ systems.
- Manages the contract process in Salesforce using tools such as Adobe Sign, Conga, and DocuSign.
- Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly update logs, tickets relating to ongoing and upcoming projects and sales activities.
- Collaborates with internal developers and product owners to translate best practices from event to event, digital products and bestselling packages.
- Establishes consistent re-book best practices and shares knowledge to create new contracts, products, and data files for pre-show preparation and post show processing.
- Supports rebook teams onsite; includes troubleshooting technical needs for rebook, and assisting with sales suite set up and design.
- Establish strong relationships with Sales, Billing, Finance, Commission Teams and other internal resources as appropriate

**Qualifications**:

- Demonstrable experience within a sales operations or enablement of at least one (1) year in B2B
- Been in an environment where you need to focus on the accuracy of data, delivery, and reporting.
- Highly organized, with a strong ability to balance multiple projects at once while paying absolute attention to detail
- Focus on accuracy and timeliness of delivery. The ability to juggle multiple tasks is important.
- A strong influencer who is able to coordinate across multiple internal teams.
- Able to communicate solutions to peers and management effectively
- Exemplary high standards of customer service, integrity; motivated and driven to succeed
- Ability to work independently as well as in a partnership and team
- Understands sales principles and processes
- CRM knowledge and experience a plus
- Event and/or Media experience a plus
- Process improvement expertise
