Collicutt Energy Services Corp, recognized experts in engine rebuilds and servicing and a leader in the natural gas and
diesel power generation industry, is currently seeking an HR Recruiter/Business Partner for our Red Deer Head Office to
join our growing team. We are looking for a HR professional/recruiter who is ready for the opportunity to grow with the
company and challenge themselves.***
- Support all branch managers and supervisors throughout Canada and California on their recruiting needs
- Design and update job descriptions
- Advertise job postings on company’s careers page, social media and job boards
- Assist with the onboarding and orientation of new hires
- Monitor key HR metrics, including time-to-fill, time-to-hire and source of hire
- Collaborate with managers to identify future hiring needs
- Coach and counsel company supervisors on HR generalist matters
- Manage and propose staff wellness initiatives
- Monitor and suggest ideas and initiatives to strengthen employee relations
- Provide advice and suggestions for culture-related initiatives, such as cultural transformation
- Implement HR interventions on employee wellness, diversity and inclusion, or talent management
- Working together with management and personnel to solve conflicts and help facilitate positive employee
relations, maintain a good working environment, build morale, and decrease turnover
- Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of Collicutt’s business operations and the energy industry
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information
- Stay current with Alberta and California employment standards and ensure Collicutt adheres to those standards
**The position requires**:
- Degree, diploma or certificate in Human Resources Management (or relevant experience)
- 3+ years experience in recruitment and/or HR advisor or business partner
- Knowledge of recruiting techniques and labour laws in Alberta and California would be an asset
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and organize workload to meet tight deadlines
- Highly conscientious and reliable
- Team player, who is also an independent thinker with the ability to remain objective
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
- Ability to communicate effectively with other departments in the organization
- An extremely high level of initiative
- Able to always ensure utmost confidentiality of confidential information
- Available for, and legally able to, travel internationally
