**Wage Rate**: $28.63 to $34.38 plus 11.5% vacation pay

**Hours of Work**: 40 hours/week, Weekend Availability Required on Occasion

**Work Setting**: Institutional, Commercial, Civil, Industrial, Residential

**Number of Job Vacancies**: 2-4

Chew Contracting Ltd., a Ralmax Group of Companies, has an exciting and immediate opening for a full-time or part-time Truck Driver in Victoria, BC to deliver to industrial, commercial, and residential construction job sites. Ability to pull a Pup or Quad trailer will be considered an asset. **Responsibilities**:

- Drive a truck equipped with or without a trailer to job site locations.
- Fill out/complete daily inspection forms and timecards in an orderly fashion.
- Play a positive role in influencing workplace morale and quality customer service.
- Safely operate the truck and its auxiliary equipment such as levers, chutes, and mixing drums.
- Must take responsibility for their equipment and keep it in a clean & orderly fashion.

**Qualifications**

**Education and Experience**
- 3+ years of related driving experience
- Class 1 Driver's License
- Geographical knowledge of the Greater Victoria area is a benefit
- Experience pulling trailers preferred

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Clear communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude

**Work Conditions**:

- The driver must be able to safely maneuver the truck in congested areas with often uneven ground conditions.
- Must be open to work occasional weekend shifts.
