**Position Summary**

The position is responsible for ensuring safe and timely transportation of goods between Nanaimo, Victoria and Courtney Branches; Deliveries to customer locations during trips between branches; transportation of b-train trailers back and forth between Victoria branch and Swartz bay sea span terminal twice weekly.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**
- Pick up and drop off driving of a b-train curtain side trailer set between Victoria branch and Swartz Bay sea span terminal
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods
- Load and unload truck and flat deck curtain side trailers correctly
- Provide excellent customer service
- Comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Operate the delivery truck in a safe manner at all times, obeying all rules of the road and safety guidelines
- Contribute to team effort and complete other duties as required or assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Experience with commercial driving
- Strapping and decking experience
- Mountain and chaining experience
- B-train experience
- Valid class 1 driver’s licence with airbrake certification
- Clear Driver’s Abstract
- Professional, friendly and outgoing personality
- Ability to work independently and with mínimal supervision

Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
