**Job Overview: Live-In Caregiver**

This is a **live-in position**, requiring the caregiver to reside in the client’s home for scheduled days, offering consistent care, companionship, and safety.

**Responsibilities**
- Provide **24-hour support**, including personal care such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
- Assist clients with **mobility, positioning, and safe transfers** throughout the day and night.
- Offer **emotional support and companionship**, encouraging conversation, recreation, and mental stimulation.
- Administer medication and assist with **monitoring health conditions**, noting changes and communicating with family or healthcare providers.
- Perform **light housekeeping** tasks to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living space (e.g., laundry, dishes, bed linens).
- Support daily living needs, including **meal prep, shopping, appointments**, and running errands as required.
- Maintain **detailed documentation** of care provided and any significant changes in the client’s condition or behavior.

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Proven experience in **caregiving, live-in care**, or home support roles; senior care experience preferred.
- Understanding of **dementia care and chronic condition management** is highly desirable.
- Ability to **live on-site with clients** for scheduled shifts.
- Strong communication and **interpersonal skills** with a calm, patient, and caring demeanor.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work **independently**.
- Basic knowledge of **home safety, hygiene, and medication reminders**.
- **CPR/First Aid certification**, police background check, and references may be required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
