**Job Summary**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Aide to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home care environments. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring comfort, and assisting with daily living activities for seniors and individuals requiring assistance.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a positive environment.
- Monitor and report changes in patients' health status to nursing staff or family members.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient living areas and assist with light housekeeping tasks.
- Support hospice care by providing compassionate end-of-life care as needed.
- Document patient care activities accurately and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in caregiving or health care settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and familiarity with senior care practices is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving duties, including lifting or transferring patients when necessary.
- Certification as a Health Care Aide or equivalent training is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
