Job Overview

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to individuals under care
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, family members, and other team members
- Drive client to and from appointments

**Skills**:

- Experience in home care, patient care, or caregiving is preferred
- Knowledge of assisted living or nursing home procedures is a plus
- Ability to lift and move patients safely when required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and their families
- Understanding of hospice care principles is advantageous
- must have vehicle to help client get to appointments

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 25 per week

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Wandering River, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
