**Role**: Full-time work as part of a team to execute Accounts Payable and Cash transactions, and provide administration support.

**Duties**:
Accounts payable:

- Receive and download accounts payable invoices, match to purchase orders and receiving documentation. Investigate and resolve variances.
- Enter invoices and file documentation.
- Create POs and process product claims. Follow-up on outstanding claims.
- Reconcile vendor statements.
- Prepare vendor invoices for payment runs.

General Ledger:

- Post daily transaction batches to ledgers, and reconcile control accounts (AP, AR, Inventory & Cash).
- Analysis of general ledger accounts.
- Prepare reports for filing of government returns (GST, PST, EHT, WCB).

Accounts Receivable & Cash:

- Cover basic duties for accounts receivable and cash deposits processing on an as needed basis.

Other:

- Record store use expenses.
- Process payroll data.
- Bank reconciliations.

Administration:

- Answer phones.
- Greet visitors at reception (low volume).

**Qualifications**:
Education & Experience
- Transactional bookkeeping experience of 2 years or more.
- Preferably studying for a qualification or certification in a registered program, e.g. accounting diploma/degree, or enrolled in CPA program (not essential).
- Experience with mid-tier ERP system would be an advantage.
- Able to use MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel & Word).
- Able to use QuickBooks would be an advantage.

Demonstrated Skills and Competencies
- Willingness to learn, and contribute to process improvements.
- Well-developed communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to build good relationships with stakeholders, within and outside of the organization.
- Able to multi-task and deal with interruptions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
