**THE ROLE**
Combine an interest in community sports with an administrative skill set. We are searching for an engaged, organized and detail oriented person to contribute to the team by providing administrative support to the Naden Hockey Club (NHC) Executive Committee. The NHC is responsible for the planning, organizing and delivery of a recreational ice hockey league.

You will be completing a variety of administrative tasks, with a large part of the job being maintaining the club membership database and communication with members. You will also assist with club operations regarding meetings, minutes, club correspondence, filing, and more.

Other duties may include but not limited to assisting with set-up for league events, ordering supplies, material hand-outs, prize management, posting results and schedules, etc.

**QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED** Education, Certifications and Licenses**

Completion of High school AND several years of experience in administration or related field

**Experience**

In office administration

In accounting

In preparing sales reports

In drafting and distributing correspondence

In bookkeeping

In scheduling tournaments/Hockey seasons

In using software for publications and promotional correspondence

**Competencies, Skills and Abilities**

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

**LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS**
Bilingual an asset

Reading: Functional

Writing: Functional

Oral: Functional
