The Order Entry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the Order Entry Team and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer orders, invoicing, and related documentation. This role requires strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills to maintain the efficiency and accuracy of order entry operations.
**Role and Responsibilities**
- Supervise and provide guidance to the Order Entry Team.
- Train team members and ensure they understand the functions and expectations of their roles.
- Accumulate and distribute customer orders to various facilities for packing.
- Print invoices and prepare customer copies for shipping.
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy.
- Resolve invoicing and credit note issues promptly.
- Prepare and compile documents for morning and scheduled shipping.
- Organize invoices according to different payment terms.
- Compile invoices from packing slips for second-run and out-of-town customers.
- Run and maintain Zero Unit Price and C-Price checking reports.
- Update booking records accurately.
- Calculate and enter credit notes as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned, consistent with the role’s nature and scope.
**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- High school diploma required.
- Minimum of two years of data entry experience with a strong understanding of data entry processes.
- Basic bookkeeping or accounting skills.
- Proven ability to supervise and manage team members.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle large volumes of work and meet deadlines.
- High computer proficiency, including spreadsheets, databases, and word processing software.
- Fast and accurate typing skills (minimum 50 WPM).
- Ability to step in for shift coverage as required.
- Availability to work on weekends and holidays as needed.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
