Human Resources Assistant Needed

We are looking for an energetic, people oriented individual to join our team This role reports directly to the CHRO and we're looking to fill the role as soon as possible.

**Main responsibilities include**:

- Recruitment
- Health and Safety (including JHSC)
- Attendance and Payroll
- Employee Appreciation
- Apparel Program
- Administer Internal benefits program (Dental and eyecare internal program)
- Employee Policy management
- Counsel staff on HR related issues and laws
- Point of contact for Employee HR related inquiries
- Identifies opportunities to streamline or automate processes to improve HR business functions

**Other duties as required, including but not limited to**
- Helping main reception during peak seasons, vacation or absences with main phone lines
- Helping with contracts during busy months
- Using internal CRM to distribute inquiries to sales team
- Helping admin support team with large projects (Events/Marketing initiatives/sales initiatives/Meetings/celebrations)

Experience 2 plus years in an HR environment, education in business and HR an asset. CHRP an asset but not required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Human resources: 1 year (preferred)
