Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Provides a variety of administrative and/or technical services to support the business which may include: preparing reports, memos, documents; sorting/collating/filing documents;Develops spreadsheets, forms, and databases to input, track, store and retrieve dataMaintain accurate and up-to-date fleet management records and reports, including vehicle inventory, maintenance schedules, and fuel usage.- Responsible for tracking vendors KPI's, surveys and scorecards to track performance against contracts and service agreements.Ensure Fleet and Equipment is managed, cost, and tracked through associated systems.Help produce daily/weekly/monthly operational documentation and reports, as assignedMonitor fleet performance and identify opportunities to reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve overall efficiencyRecommends improvements to existing processes and procedures to achieve greater efficiencyResponsible for workforce management database support in the development of automated solutions to facilitate ongoing reporting.- Develops presentation views of budget vs. actual and capacity plan scenarios of fleetAdministers and supervises the collection of information supporting Operating budget processes or ongoing monthly reporting and communicates progress and issues impacting the deliverables.Assists with other departmental requests as required and performs special projects as assigned.As part of their work, employees must take all necessary measures to ensure their own health and safety, and that of their co-workers and the public in general. They must use available personal protective equipment at all times, and comply with all Health & Safety instructions, guidelines, policies and procedures issued by the Company.To support Cogeco’s ultimate goal of providing excellent service to current and potential customers, the incumbent must be constantly attentive and responsive to both external and internal customers’ needs and assist in the resolution of any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner while ensuring that the solution meets the customer’s needs.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
WORK EXPERIENCE- Must be detail oriented with demonstrated analytical skills and experience in preparing complex business cases.
SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES- Someone who can visualise and action the bigger picture aligned with the business goals.- English and French Required-
- Database knowledge and navigation (creating complex queries, extraction of data, etc) an asset.- Knowledge of workflow process documentation and analysis.- Detail oriented (accurate and thorough) with superior organisational and analytical skills.- Demonstrated interpersonal skills with a winning customer service attitude and professional demeanour. Ability to communicate with a high degree of tact and diplomacy.- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills.- Highly organised with the ability to take initiative to identify and resolve problems independently.
