**Position Overview**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Architectural Technician / Project Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the development of construction documents and the administration of architectural projects under construction.

This role requires a strong understanding of architectural design and local/ regional construction practices, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members effectively.

Unit 7 Architecture is currently working with a number of First Nations communities, and travel to remote areas of Manitoba and region is required.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with architects and designers to create detailed construction documents and specifications.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with construction documents, design specifications, and building codes.
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to facilitate seamless project execution.
- Provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, addressing any design or construction issues that arise.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, misc. documents, and change orders.
- Stay current on industry trends, materials, and best practices to enhance project outcomes.

**Qualifications**
- Appropriate education as an Architectural Technologist, or in a related field.
- Demonstrable experience as an Architectural Technician or Project Manager in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., Revit, SketchUp, Vectorworks) and project management tools.
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $56,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Additional pay:
