As a **Systems Administrator**, you’ll be at the heart of our IT infrastructure, ensuring systems are optimized, secure, and ready to perform. From troubleshooting and upgrades to designing cutting-edge solutions, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our operations on the fast track to success.
**The daily road of a System Administrator at Fix Network**
- Manage and maintain cloud and remote site network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and other network devices.
- Maintain and Monitor Windows/Linux servers and cloud environments for optimal performance and mínimal downtime.
- Resolve incidents and service requests following documented procedures, coordinating with other support teams and vendors as needed.
- Troubleshoot second
- and third-level incidents directly with affected users and external vendors.
- Install and deploy system updates, patches, and configuration changes in the production environment.
- Manage and administer SharePoint / MS Teams environments, ensuring reliable access and secure collaboration.
- Plan, deploy, and configure new hardware and software.
- Maintain security groups and manage user access for critical systems.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation in ITSM, CMDB. Inform affected teams and users about significant changes.
- Provide technical expertise and recommendations for user inquiries.
- Collaborate with the Information Security Team to ensure security controls are properly implemented and monitored.
- Review system monitoring and logs to identify anomalies and prevent incidents impacting critical systems and network connectivity.
- Propose infrastructure architecture improvements to enhance reliability, security, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Add content to the knowledge base and cross-train IT team members and end users.
**The pilote we are looking for**:
- Bachelor’s or college degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Systems or Network Administrator.
- Strong experience with Fortinet technologies.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency with Intune (deployments, Autopilot, device configurations).
- Knowledge of key project management concepts.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; French is an asset.
