We are looking for a Senior Tool Support Specialist to help the development team of one of our productions use production pipeline tools.
The role of the Tool Support Specialist is to provide first-level support and advanced testing throughout the project's lifecycle, as well as to be a unique point of contact for the assigned product(s) within the team. As part of our guardians of quality, you will help strengthen our QC-related processes. You will identify and document quality and stability issues.
You will also validate software throughout the various stages of development and/or environment, deployment, regression, usability tests, and you will document any issues encountered. In collaboration with your colleagues across multiple studios, you will find and implement long-term solutions. Additionally, you will participate in identifying missing or inadequate quality processes in a continuous improvement approach.
**What you will do**
- Analyze, understand, and master the project's production pipeline tools.
- Propose improvements to the production pipeline tools in close collaboration with the tool programmers.
- Create and maintain clear and accessible documentation for a technically varied audience.
- Regularly communicate with production teams to understand their daily routines and identify possible user experience improvements.
- Implement test plans to ensure the quality of the tools.
- Become the reference for the use of production pipeline tools on the project.
**Qualifications**
- Excellent communication skills. Diplomacy and empathy.
- Bilingual (FR/EN) oral and written
- Ability to remain calm in difficult situations.
- Ability to simplify and explain complex concepts.
- Autonomous and resourceful in your tasks.
- Good knowledge of pipeline tools (ideally Perforce, TeamCity)
- (Optional) Good knowledge of our inner sourcing tools (Submit Assistant, Remote Build, Safe Submit)
- (Optional) Good knowledge of Unity
