**Title**: Application Production Support Specialist

**Location**: Montreal, 3 days/week face-to-face

**Type**:Long Term Contract (12+ months)

**Key points/Faits saillants**:

- Strong Knowledge with SQL and Windows server
- Must have work in a Linux/Unix environment.
- Monitoring tools knowledge

**Soft Skills**:
Team player / good communication / able to work independently

**Assets**:

- Diploma : BAC or équivalent
- Finance Industry
- Familiarity with Production tools like Geneos, Service Now, Confluence, Autosys etc.
- Good Knowledge on Python
- ITIL certification

**Job description**:

- Manage alerts to ensure rapid resolution or escalation of issues for investigation;
- Maintain alert documentation and process guidelines for easy issue resolution and follow-up during incident management;
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in accordance with shared guidelines;
- Act as first line of contact for end-users to register their queries and concerns. Liaise with Level 2, Infra teams and Incident Manager in case of global issues;
- Keep track of the impact and age of incidents;
- Ensure issues are properly logged for high priority incidents and follow up for prompt closure;
- Provide timely and accurate feedback to customers;
- Prioritize and manage multiple open issues at the sametime;
- Maintain repository of category-based production alerts; Quickly escalate repeated problems.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $45.00-$51.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
