**Position Overview**

The **Business Development Manager - Industrial & Commercial** will play a key role in growing DBM Vircon’s presence in the North American industrial and commercial steel detailing markets, while also promoting companion services such as piping, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) detailing. This role is responsible for business development, client relationship management, and building trusted partnerships through a solutions-based sales approach.

The Business Development Manager will work closely with technical SMEs, the estimating team, and other business segments to leverage DBM Vircon’s integrated methodology. Success in this role requires a strong industry network, business acumen, and the ability to identify opportunities, win new clients, and expand existing relationships.

**Key Responsibilities**

Your main responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- **Sales Strategy & Execution**: Develop and implement sales plans to identify, engage, and secure new customers in the industrial and commercial sectors, while promoting DBM Vircon’s full suite of services.
- **Client Relationship Building**: Establish, maintain, and grow client relationships to ensure repeat business and expand service offerings.
- **Collaboration & Growth**: Partner with the VP Sales and broader sales team to execute growth strategies and account management processes.
- **Cross-Segment Coordination**: Collaborate with other North American sales team members to promote DBM Vircon’s integrated services across diverse markets.
- **Pipeline & CRM Management**: Accurately input and maintain opportunities in Salesforce, ensuring timely updates and reliable data.
- **Account Planning**: Lead and contribute to account plans aimed at achieving sales targets, including revenue growth, pipeline expansion, and client satisfaction.
- **Market Development**: Represent DBM Vircon at client meetings, industry events, and presentations to drive brand awareness and generate new opportunities.
- **Strategic Agility**: Balance immediate project pursuits with long-term client and market development strategies.

**Travel**
- This role covers Canada and the United States. It is anticipated that 30% - 50% travel will be required. Company credit card and corporate travel arrangement is provided.

**Work Experience**
- Minimum of five (5) years total related experience in industrial (Mining, O&G) and commercial (stadiums, towers, datacenters etc.) construction, engineering, or maintenance.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience in B2B technical or construction-related sales/marketing.
- Knowledge and relationships within the **industrial, oil & gas, and commercial construction markets** highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated success in business development, client management, and sales growth.

**Software & Technology**
- Proficiency with Salesforce preferred.
- Knowledge of construction modelling software (Tekla, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Revit, Bluebeam) is beneficial but not required.

**Salary Range**

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $135,000 CAD per annum + Commission (performance-based). The final base salary will be determined based on factors such as the applicant's education, skills, competencies, and unique qualifications.
