Brogden's Restaurant is a relatively new restaurant in Waterdown; opening in October of 2019, just prior to COVID. We pride ourselves on providing a quality meal and great service at a fair price. We are passionate about food and are looking to expand our front of house team with a Server.

If you are passionate about food, service and the restaurant industry, this is the position for you. We are looking for individuals who are able to support our front of house, by taking orders, maintaining customer satisfaction and delivering quality meals while being friendly and professional.

Duties will mostly include taking food and drink orders, entering them into the P.O.S., ensuring that tables are served properly and that all payments are collected.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure within a team environment. Previous work experience involving customer service in a fast-paced environment is greatly desired.

Server Responsibilities:

- Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude.
- Enter orders into computers for transmittal to kitchen staff.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner.
- Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions.
- Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
- Collect payments from tables.
- Help food preparation staff when necessary.

Server Requirements:

- Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment desired.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure with all team members.
- Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
- Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10 - 15 per week

**Salary**: $15.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- serving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Smart Serve, SIR or equivalent (preferred)
