**Role Overview**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive team member to support our strategic engagement with public sector stakeholders, funding programs, and policy developments.

In this role, you will contribute to shaping the company’s external voice through policy monitoring, content development, and participation in public initiatives. You will also collaborate cross-functionally to support business planning efforts, coordinate regulatory and innovation-focused opportunities, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality submissions and reports. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys combining research, writing, and project coordination in a mission-driven, innovation-first environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Help coordinate participation in government events, grant programs, public consultations, or regulatory roundtables
- Monitor public policy developments in AI, innovation, privacy, and related domains, and summarize key findings to the leadership team
- Contribute to writing and maintaining company documents such as project overviews, white papers, funding decks, and public messaging
- Assist with external messaging kits including media summaries, government-facing one-pagers, and non-confidential pitch collateral
- Research and identify funding opportunities from sources such as IRAP, SR&ED, Mitacs, and provincial innovation programs
- Maintain correspondence with funding agencies, program officers
- Assist with internal audits, compliance checks, and performance reporting for grant-funded activities

**Qualifications**
- Strong research, time management, and multi-tasking skills
- Proactive communicator, capable of initiating conversations with external agencies and internal stakeholders alike
- Curious about technology and public policy, especially AI and innovation ecosystems
- Familiarity with public funding instruments is a strong asset, but not required

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
