We are looking for an **Operations Manager **to join the team.
**Key Job Responsibilities **_include but are not limited to_:
- Assisting the HR team in recruiting, including interviewing and selection.
- Reviewing workloads and manpower to ensure targets are met.
- Addressing employee performance and developing corrective action plans
- Identify, discuss and develop solutions for relevant issues at the job site meeting.
- Maintain and enforce good construction standards and quality control.
- Making important policy, planning, and strategy decisions.
- Support worker communication with the management team
- Coordinate and monitor the work of various departments.
- Negotiate Pricing with Suppliers
- Plays a significant role in long-term planning, project status reporting, and implementing change control processes.
- Works closely with COO/owner on special planning and departmental projects. (operational projects, building, etc)
- Staying up to date on industry regulations, trends, and technology
**Job Knowledge and Skills**:
- Minimum 10-15 years experience as a Superintendent on commercial/residential, infrastructure and construction projects.
- Post-secondary education in a construction-related field is an asset.
- Red Seal Journeyperson Status or equivalent is an asset
- Must have an understanding of construction terms, scheduling and planning concepts.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Excellent organizational, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to address operational concerns and issues, monitoring overall customer satisfaction
- Ability to communicate with offers effectively.
- Ability to conduct research for special projects, respond to timely inquiries and present written/oral briefings.
- Ability to work with details and time-sensitive issues.
- Good decision-making skills and response to high-pressure situations.

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year

**Education**:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
**Experience**:
- superintendent: 10 years (preferred)
