**The Role**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Verify income, down payment, credit, and property documentation.
- Identify gaps and request additional information or documentation.

**Underwriting & Strategy Support**
- Assess files against lender policies and guidelines.
- Develop 2-3 viable mortgage options for review by the Lead Advisor.

**Submission & Lender Relations**
- Prepare and submit files to lenders.
- Communicate and negotiate with lender underwriters to secure approvals.
- Manage escalations and resolve outstanding conditions.

**Fulfillment & Funding**
- Prepare signing packages and coordinate e-signature processes.
- Collect outstanding documentation and order appraisals, as required.
- Liaise with solicitors and lenders to ensure smooth closing and timely funding.

**Client Support**
- Communicate with clients regarding document requests and condition fulfillment.
- Provide consistent, professional support throughout the underwriting and fulfillment process.
- Reinforce the high standard of service that defines Mortgage Fernando Inc.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Proven experience in mortgage underwriting or mortgage advising within a brokerage or lender environment.
- Strong understanding of residential mortgage products and lender policies.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple files efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical requirements clearly to clients.
- Proficiency with Finmo, Google Workspace, and CRM tools preferred.
- Collaborative approach with a client-first mindset.

Pay: $39,465.41-$83,402.47 per year
