The Manager, Change Management is responsible for providing leadership and direction on all programs, policies and services related to organizational change. This position leads the development and implementation of change management strategies for organizational initiatives.

**Job Duties**:
Develops and establishes WCB's change management practice in collaboration with internal/external key stakeholders. This includes oversight of all change management initiatives including planning, forecasting and implementation.

Provides leadership, guidance, direction and support to the change management team including: hiring staff; conducting performance reviews and follow-up, identifying training and development needs; coaching and motivating staff; coordinating work activities, assigning workload; and deciding on disciplinary action up to and including dismissal where necessary.

Develops, advises and implements comprehensive engagement and change management strategies to move impacted stakeholders through the various stages of change, including awareness, understanding, action and adoption.

Anticipates, evaluates and ensures organizational change readiness and recommends a mitigation plan to address resistance.

Collaborates with key business stakeholders and executives to establish the change management priorities of the WCB; plans accordingly within the team, requesting additional support from preferred vendors as required.

Coaches sponsors, leaders and teams in human centric design, promoting new ways of working to facilitate business outcomes.

Facilitates change management learning sessions for leadership and executives, as well as other WCB teams as required.

Conducts change impact assessments, and educates other team members to perform this activity. Regularly engages with the stakeholder community to assess potential change fatigue.

Identifies change champions/advocates within the organization to enhance employee experience, create employee understanding and influence successful organizational change.

Participates in the selection and engagement of external contractors. This includes preparation/analysis of requests for proposals, overall management of the contractor, ensuring all contractual service requirements are met, and processing of invoices.

Oversees the establishment, implementation and improvement of change management standards and resources, including but not limited to change management methodologies, terminology, templates and reporting.

Keeps current on trends in change management/business transformation. Maintains current knowledge through research, information sharing and discussing trends with other Change Management Professionals within the community; liases with other Workers Compensation Boards, public agencies and other organizations regarding best practices.

Pursues professional and personal development through continuing education and training, literature reviews, workshops, seminars, etc.

Performs other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:
University degree in Business Administration or a related field

Minimum seven (7) years' experience leading organizational change, with at least two (2) years of managing direct reports.

Knowledge of change management techniques and methodologies

Knowledge of human-centered design methodology

Advanced proficiency in the use of personal computer and software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project) in a Windows environment.

Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence, persuade and negotiate with stakeholders

Excellent problem solving and analytical ability

Ability to lead project teams and motivate team members

Ability to organize and prioritize workload under pressure within tight deadlines

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Change management certification is considered an asset.

Related education such as Human Resources Management or Project Management is considered an asset.

Ability to communicate proficiently in both official languages (English & French) is an asset, but is not required.
