**Job Description**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Continuous review of accounts payable data focused on identifying irregularities and opportunities for process efficiencies
- Work as a coach with AP Analysts to ensure common reconciling items are identified and action plans are created to correct and prevent similar issues
- Proactively investigate and resolve processing issues and concerns on a timely basis
- Publish and maintain a comprehensive training and development database
- Assist the Manager of Purchases and Payments with teammate selection, training, and documentation and delivery of performance feedback.
- Lead project teams within purchases and payments, provide strategic analysis and recommendations for designing and implementing new and changing processes
- Establish, communicate and evaluate operational goals for the team and track key performance indicators (KPIs)Engages with external user groups in order to develop strategies for continuous improvement of the purchases and payment process

**Qualifications**:

- At least 3 years of experience as an accountant or analyst and understanding of accounts payable processes
- University or College education in accounting, finance or related field; or equivalent work experience
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with large enterprise software systems
- Professional communication skills; proactively communicates with teammates, internal and external customers
- Professionalism, embraces and lives into the core values of EMCO
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail
- Displays the desire for continuous self-improvement
- Proven ability to identify strategic opportunities for change, make recommendations for improvement and implement actions effectively.

**Other Skills**:

- ** Bilingual (French and English) communication is an asset**:

- CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation considered an asset
- Experience with cloud-based ERP software and large enterprise software systems an asset

**Remote Work**:

- This position is eligible for hybrid work option (60%-100% in person), within London, Ontario.
