**PASAJ Commissary** produces a wide range of pastries and breads for our 2 stores: PASAJ (Brunch Restaurant), SIMIT&CHAI (Bagel Shop) and wholesale customers. We pride ourselves in making everything from scratch. We're the only producers of Simit (Turkish Bagel) in Toronto.

We are looking for a presentable, eager to learn, disciplined, creative, PART TIME BAKERY ASSISTANT to join our growing team that have:

- At least 1 year EXPERIENCE as a bakery assistant
- Excellent communication SKILLS & customer oriented ATTITUDE.
- A strong work ethic.
- A sense of esthetics.
- Lives in a short distance or won't be bothered by the commute

**Responsibilities**:

- Taking customer orders & payments
- Serving display items and drinks
- Arranging, restocking merchandiser and shelf products
- Assist with bakery tasks
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their bakery needs
- Maintenance & Cleaning duties
- Opening & Closing duties

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $16.55 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON M4M 1K8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
