Position Summary

Our Service & Installation Supervisors are our partners in delivering the best possible solution to our customers. They own the work they do and leverage their knowledge of our products and policies to ensure that the job is done right the first time. They have an attention to detail to guarantee that all site protocols and health and safety standards are followed and can deal with the growing demand for our products and services. They have the ability to coordinate large scale installations, resolve all manner of service calls, lead by example and help mentor and train our Junior Technicians.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

CCTV:

- Installation of various CCTV systems (both Analog & Digital IP Systems), install and program NVR/DVR's, dress and route cable into closets, control rooms and panels, troubleshoot related systems and products Installation of CCTV (includes Axis, Avigilon, HIK Vision, Geovision and Pelco)
- Troubleshoots & resolve network related issues (LAN, WLAN & WAN)
- Send daily updates of time spent at each project along with deliverables accomplished
- Direct updates to project manager
- Maintains safe and secure work environment by following safe practices
- Keeps customer’s security information confidential

Access Control System:

- Installation of Access Control, Program Access Control Panels and Systems, (includes RBH, Hartman, and Avigilon)
- Onsite troubleshooting of Access Control (includes servicing existing systems)
- Installation & Service of Mag Locks, electric strikes and low voltage electrical locking hardware, readers, openers, etc.

Intercom Systems:

- Installation of Intercom Systems (includes Mircom, Aiphone, etc.)
- Onsite troubleshooting of Intercom (includes servicing existing systems)
- Installation & Service of Mag Locks, electric strikes and low voltage electrical locking hardware
- Send daily updates of time spent at each project along with deliverables accomplished
- Direct updates to project manager
- Maintains safe and secure work environment by following safe practices
- Keeps customer’s security information confidential

- Assist in day to day management of the Technician Team by ensuring compliance with all policies and procedures, driving efficiencies, and promoting alignment with departmental goals and Stealth Monitoring’s core values
- Provide direction, training, guidance and support to new and existing Service and Installation Technicians

Continuous Improvement:

- Assists management in developing, improving standard procedures and best practices
- Take initiative to learn new tasks
- Bring forward recommendations for improvement of policies & procedures
- Carry out site QA inspections and coach team members as required

Education/Experience
- Limited Energy Technician - Class A (LEA) license
- Post secondary education in a technology related field with an emphasis on computer/IT skills
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience working as a technician in the physical/electronic security industry on video surveillance systems, Alarm systems and Access control Systems either analog or IP
- A clean criminal background and motor vehicle record.
- Able to use MS Office tools and experience using a Windows PC

Core Competencies
- Excellent physical condition as the job requires lifting of equipment overhead weighing upwards of 50 lbs.
- No fear of heights in order to operate a Lift to conduct installations
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with internal and external parties
- A valid driver's license
