**Full-Time Position**
The Hamilton Sports Group, which operates the Hamilton Tiger-Cats Football Club and Forge FC, is an organization with a rich history both on and off the field. The company is committed to creating a world class fan experience at all Hamilton Stadium events.
Reporting to the Sr. Video Producer, the Jr. Video Producer will provide a variety of video and creative services that are essential to the successful execution of all Hamilton Sports Group events. **Overall Responsibilities**
The primary focus of this entry-level position is the video production for both Forge FC and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats for all HSG events at Hamilton Stadium. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for video production for all other departments in the Hamilton Sports Group. The person in this role should have strong organizational skills, a thorough knowledge of adobe creative cloud, a strong work ethic and a positive attitude is a must. Work hours will include some evenings and weekends depending on home games and scheduled events throughout the season.
**Essential Functions and Responsibilities**
- Produce video content for social media, websites, marketing and corporate projects and the game day videoboard
- Cover day-to-day media conferences at Hamilton Stadium.
- Edit videos using Adobe Creative Suite with a focus on Premiere and After Effects
- Add graphical elements and animation and render out final formats
- Assemble, prepare, and set up equipment prior to filming, including tripods, monitors, lighting, and cables
- Ability to find solutions to technical and/or other practical problems that may occur
- Post, update, and coordinate content on ticats.ca and other social media outlets
- Identify potential news story ideas relevant to the Tiger-Cats Football Club and Forge FC and its programs and initiatives
- Assist in content effort surrounding Tiger-Cats and Forge FC strategies/events
- Assist in the creation of social media content, including photos and blog posts
- Collaborate on social media projects and contests to promote engagement and expand fan base
- Assist with general administrative work including but not limited to: maintaining/organizing files, data entry, copying, and filing.
- Provide Video coverage for both teams during all Home Game and some Away Games
- Weekend and evening work attendance will be required.
**Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Experience)**
**Job Specific Skills and Abilities**:
- Must be an effective written and verbal communicator
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud
- Some experience using Excel, Google Docs, and any event management software
- Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- A strong work ethic, and the ability to work well both individually and with a group
- Passion for football, soccer, and the Hamilton community
**Education and Experience**:
- Experience within the event or sports industry is an asset
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in video, event planning, business, sports administration, or other related disciplines is an asset
**Other Considerations**:
- In office role working out of Hamilton Stadium
- Will be required to work all home games, as well as weekends and evenings when necessary
