Food Production Supervisor

**1. Daily Operations Oversight**
- Supervise all plant activities: production, packaging, cleaning, and maintenance.
- Resolve immediate issues (e.g., ingredient shortages, equipment problems, staff absences).
- Ensure operations are efficient, safe, and organized.
**2. Schedule & Workflow Management**
- Ensure timely start/end of shifts and adherence to production phases.
- Adjust staffing or materials as needed to meet daily/weekly plans.
**3. Policy & SOP Compliance**
- Enforce company rules on safety, hygiene, and PPE use.
- Ensure all tasks follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Train and update staff on procedures, correcting deviations when necessary.
**4. Inventory & Supply Control**
- Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory.
- Use FIFO, document movements, and manage orders and dispatch.
- Identify near-expiry products to reduce waste.
**5. Team Leadership & Evaluation**
- Supervise, train, and motivate staff.
- Evaluate performance (punctuality, quality, behavior).
- Address conflicts fairly and escalate serious issues when needed.
**6. Equipment & Maintenance**
- Oversee proper equipment use and maintenance.
- Report issues promptly to avoid downtime.
**7. Continuous Improvement**
- Identify and propose process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
**Qualifications**
- Proven leadership skills in a food production environment
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality control
- Excellent communication and team management abilities
- Experience in process optimization and efficiency improvement
- Ability to train and mentor staff effectively
- Familiarity with inventory management and production scheduling
