**Job description**

Salem Manor is looking for a dedicated individual to join the Food Service Team

**Job responsibilities**:
Prepare and deliver attractive and nutritious meals and nourishment for the residents including special diets and textures.

Follow the nutritional guidelines as prescribed for the residents.

Adhere to legislative requirements (e.g.,WHMIS)

Able to read and follow standardized recipes and production sheets.

Basic understanding of Therapeutic Diets.

Solid understanding of portion control.

Follow safe work practices.

Wash Dishes

Clean Tables

Any other duties that are required by the supervisor.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Previous Food Service experience in a long term care setting is an asset.

**Must have 2 doses of Covid-19 Vaccination**
