**Equipment Rental Assistant - Capital Skates**

Join our friendly and welcoming team at **Capital Skates**, the top rental operator on the Rideau Canal With two rental stations along the world’s largest outdoor skating rink, you’ll interact with visitors and provide them with the skates, sleighs, and training aids they need for an unforgettable experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist clients with skate and sleigh rentals.
- Operate a computerized rental system efficiently.
- Deliver excellent customer service to visitors.

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Bilingual (French and English).
- Proactive and team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
- Punctuality, professionalism, and respect for schedules.
- Customer service or sales experience (1 year preferred).

**Position Details**:

- **Salary**: $18.00-$22.00/hour (depending on experience).
- **Shifts**: Flexible hours with day, evening, and weekend availability.
- **Contract Length**: 2 months (seasonal).
- **Hours**: 12-40 hours per week (part-time or full-time).

**Responsabilités principales**:

- Assurer la location de patins et traîneaux.
- Opérer efficacement un système informatisé de location.
- Offrir un excellent service à la clientèle.

**Compétences et exigences**:

- Bilinguisme (français et anglais).
- Initiative, esprit d’équipe et excellentes relations interpersonnelles.
- Ponctualité, professionnalisme et respect des horaires.
- Expérience en service à la clientèle ou en vente (1 an, un atout).

**Détails du poste**:

- **Salaire** : 18,00 $ à 22,00 $/heure (selon l’expérience).
- **Horaires** : Heures flexibles, quarts de jour, soir et fin de semaine.
- **Durée du contrat** : 2 mois (saisonnier).
- **Heures** : 12 à 40 heures par semaine (temps partiel ou temps plein).

- Ottawa, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
