Ajax, Canada H&M Full time

The DC Logistics Coordinator oversees the yard and on-site carrier management, supporting both inbound and outbound dock activities. This is a full-time position required on-site with a tentative schedule of Monday-Friday 11:00AM-7:30PM.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manages planned yard moves to ensure which trailers and containers are available to Inbound and Outbound Dock Teams
- Acts as primary point of contact for carriers arriving to shipping office
- Correspond and organize with carriers for correct inventory for outgoing departures
- Liaise with shunt truck vendor to manage schedule requirements
- Responsible for yard capacity and liaising with carriers and internal teams to clear assets on premises
- Support in developing and distributing pre-receiving paperwork to dock teams
- Oversees trailer seal log and verification process
- Oversees completion of trailer safety inspections
- Complete daily yard inspections to ensure accuracy of inventory on property
- Receive all deliveries for facility and coordinate storing, reporting, and delivery to internal contacts
- Liaise with various internal departments to maintain on-time movement of trailers and containers
- Organizes, manages and supports warehouse in special projects as needed

**Qualifications** What You Need To Succeed**:

- At least 1 year as an inbound/outbound shipping coordinator
- Willingness work outside in various temperatures to manage yard
- A good understanding of IT systems and how you work with the functionality provided
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Detail oriented, with strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem solving skills and decision-making abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**Good To Have**:

- Intermediate to experienced level with Microsoft Excel (pivot table building, research, and analysis) will be highly regarded
