**What we need.**

Reporting to the Director, Food and Beverage, the Kitchen Coordinator's main objective is to liaise with suppliers, manage, store and inventory raw materials for the food services operations while ensuring compliance in compliance with HACCP protocols and safety measures as laid out by the WSIB standards. The incumbent also ensures coordination and communication between the different employees of the department and the different services.

**What you’ll do**
- Store, maintain and control inventory for both sides of the house;
- Actively participate in monthly inventory counts and reconciliation;
- Support the Food and Beverage team in the selection and purchase of products that meet quality standards and cost objectives;
- Actively contribute to the definition and continuous adjustment of stock par levels;
- Ensure proper storage of materials and maintain clean and tidy warehouses in compliance in compliance with HACCP protocols and safety measures as laid out by the WSIB;
- Maintain the catering cost management system and ensure its integrity;
- Ensure daily communications with the various suppliers: place orders, manage returns, receive deliveries, etc. ;
- Verify and account for invoices in the various systems that food and beverage use;
- Facilitate the management of hires within the department (making appointments, administrative formalities, etc.);
- Facilitate the reception and integration of new culinary Artisans;
- Prepare and distribute the schedule according to operational needs;
- Respond to the various daily requests of the Artisans in the Food and Beverage team kitchen, directing them to the right resource and people as needed;
- Liaise with the Technical Services and IT teams to ensure that any defective equipment is repaired as soon as possible;
- Actively support the Executive Chef in HACCP internal audits and follow-up with the Artisans;
- Assist the Food and Beverage team in various other administrative tasks (time sheet verification, updating daily checklists, etc.);
- Perform any other related tasks.

**Profile needed**

**What is the profile needed in order to be successful in this position**
- Minimum two (2) years experience in a similar position;
- Must have HACCP food establishment manager training;
- Diploma in restaurant, hotel or kitchen would be an asset;
- Excellent abilities with computer software such as: MSt Office Suite, PieceMeal, LightSpeed, Norming;
- Accounting knowledge would be an asset;
- Good organizational skills as well as a rigorous work ethic;
- Ability to work in a team and to manage stress;
- Demonstrate autonomy, dynamism, honesty and versatility;
- Positive attitude, resourcefulness, attention to detail.
