The Complex Mental Illness (CMI) Program is seeking a full time, temporary (12 months) Social Worker 2 whose responsibilities will be with the Out of Custody Treatment Order Team. This team will be responsible for assessing individuals who have been found Unfit to Stand Trial and have been given a Treatment Order, where there is a possibility that the Treatment order could be completed on an outpatient basis. Reporting to the manager of the Forensic Outpatient Service, and working collaboratively in an inter-professional team setting, you will be responsible for participating in the intake process, making treatment recommendations, providing psychosocial assessments, participating in the provision of clinical services and providing short term case management. The goal of the program is to return clients to Fitness and arrange for longer term follow up. You will be able to work with clients from diverse populations; contribute to program development; and participate in the research activities of the program. You must be capable of providing supervision of Masters of Social Work students, collaborating with faculties of social work on special projects related to the development of the social work field, contributing to the development of best practices unique to the social work field and also teaching to other professionals. You may also case manage Forensic Outpatient Services clients. You will provide social work services reflective of the needs of our clients that will include evening and weekend hours. You will support a workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable regulatory and legislative requirements. Workload data entry, travel, evenings and weekends are part of the job requirement. This position is located at 1001 Queen St.

**Please note**:This full-time, temporary (12 months) position is part of the OPSEU bargaining unit.**:
**Salary Range**: $36.04 - $48.57 per hour
