The Substance Abuse Program for African Canadian and Caribbean Youth (SAPACCY) provides culturally competent care to young clients (between 14 and 24) from the black communities across Toronto. The service is seeking to fill one full-time, permanent Social Worker 2 position that will report to the Senior Manager of Child, Youth and Family Services and work collaboratively with other clinical services within the CYEAP and across CAMH. From an equity analysis perspective the incumbent should be a male identifying clinician with lived experience as a Black person who will work largely with black male youth clients (and clients’ families as appropriate), who are dealing with co-morbid addiction and mental illness and also provide consultation to other professionals working with this population. The incumbent will deliver care within a model that recognizes the lived experience of black youth who have faced oppression and racism as it relates to many aspects of their lives inclusive of the social determinants of health - housing, employment and education. Clinical interventions include assessment, case management, individual and group therapy. The incumbent will support program development and clinical evaluation and be an active participant in continuous quality improvement and research activities. Collaboration with external stakeholders seeking support and shared care for complex clients is a significant part of this role. You will support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork and complies with all applicable and regulatory requirements. Some evening hours are required as is work in the community. Other duties as assigned. This position is located at 80 Workman Way.

**Please Note**: This full-time, permanent position is part of the OPSEU Bargaining Unit.

**Salary Range**:$36.04 to $48.57 per hour
