Computer / Smartphone Repair Technician

We are a retail technology services company focused on repairing and refurbishing consumer mobile technology products like smartphones, tablets, laptops, headphones, gaming consoles, etc. We also repair devices like the drones, iRobot Rumba vacuums, Car Scanners, smart watches, logic boards, etc.
We started business in 2006 and work out of a high profile location across from Square One in Mississauga.
We are looking to hire an experienced computer and smartphone repair technician immediately for our Mississauga store.
Essential Skills:
- Good communication skills.
- Experience in customer service.
- Hands-on experience doing phone and/or computer repairs, hardware and software.
- Strong hardware troubleshooting, diagnosis and testing skills
- Experience using repair tools like soldering iron, heat gun, and other professional repair tools like microscopes, ultrasonic bath, etc.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair at the component level.
- Software troubleshooting skills on Windows and Mac OS.
- Familiar with various software utilities for configuring, troubleshooting, malware removal and data backup and restore.
- Ability to research the web for software and hardware solutions.
- Knowledge of data recovery methods and software tools.
- Knowledge of current computer tablet and smartphone software, for example Android, IOS, Windows Phone, Blackberry, etc.
- Logic Board repairs for smartphones and Macbooks would be a big plus.
With training, experience and initiative, these positions should lead to independent management of retail locations within 12 months. These independent management opportunities would include performance-driven bonuses, commissions, and profit-sharing in addition to base hourly compensation.
