Landscaping Centre Material Handler

Our Landscaping Products Sales Centre supplies Ottawa’s leading Landscaping Contractors with hardscaping stone and accessories. Our Yard team plays a huge role in getting our customers what they need, when they need it.

We are looking for a full-time Material Handler to join our team in Carp, ON for the landscaping season (early spring through late fall)

Your regular schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with overtime hours also possible during peak periods.

The wage range for this position is $20.00-$23.50/hour, based on your skills and experience.

- **Your day-to-day**_
- Picking orders of landscaping stone (“interlock”) and materials that will be used to build landscaping features
- Ensuring orders are complete and accurate, and identifying any issues or discrepancies
- Making material packages delivery-ready: safely bundling, strapping and labeling them for the next stage of handling
- Loading orders onto KOTT delivery vehicles and customer vehicles

**What you need to succeed**
- **Experience**_
- Forklift experience is required
- Experience working with your hands
- Knowledge of landscaping stone products is considered a strong asset
- **Skills & Qualifications**_
- Quality and detail oriented
- Capable of heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and able to stand for long periods
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability to communicate well in English

Please note that CSA-approved safety footwear is required - KOTT will provide other PPE
