**Job Overview**
Rodren Drilling Ltd is hiring a Shop Foreman. The shop foreman is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, ensuring the efficient maintenance and repair of heavy equipment and drills.
**Duties**
- Manage shop staff by providing guidance and feedback. This includes diagnosing problems and finding solutions for them
- Have good positive and informative morning safety meetings. This includes arriving first in the morning opening doors and setting up for the morning meetings with crew members.
- Knowledge of relevant safety regulations, compliance standards, and environmental guidelines.
- Maintain Equipment logs on all equipment in the field and in the shop. Communication with field employees is a must.
- Schedule work in the shop and explain and address the delays.
- Making sure the correct components are readily available. Stock needs to be monitored carefully and precisely documented.
- Will have to train new staff from time to time. Will have to update staff on new equipment or updates to older equipment
- Duties also include locking up at night and ensure shop is shut down properly and clean for the next day.
- Must be flexible on hours and set up mechanic schedules and plan who is on call on weekends. Must answer calls evening and weekends as we operate 24 hours/day 7 days/week
**Qualifications and Experience**
- Minimum 5 years of experience in foreman duties.
- Strong technical knowledge and computer skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead a diverse team.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems quickly and implement effective solutions.
Pay: $38.00-$42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
