**Description of the Position**

The Residential Property Manager regularly spends their time managing the day-to-day requirements of the farm’s employee accommodations. This includes basic repair and maintenance of the buildings, communicating with residents, preparation of units for move in/out, maintaining aesthetic standards, and forward planning larger R&M projects with the farm maintenance manager. The property portfolio includes local houses, on farm residence, and a four-story 12-unit apartment building. This position also includes building administrative functions such as maintaining occupancy records, fire safety, and orienting new residents.

Secondary responsibilities can include assisting the farm maintenance manager on the farm and driving the 5-tonne truck locally from Abbotsford to Aldergrove as required and time allows. These duties involve working with a variety of equipment which includes irrigation systems, mobile equipment, small engines, and basic R&M around the farm.

**Qualifications**
- **Requirements**_
- General repair and maintenance background and aptitude
- Working knowledge of plumbing and electrical
- Self starter, capable of working alone for long periods
- Valid drivers license
- Communicate effectively in English
- Communication in Spanish is an asset
