**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**:
**POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Develop, plan, and implement Local Service Operating strategies, ensuring seamless execution of customer traffic and local T&E coordination
- Conduct thorough inventory audits for designated local assignments, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with inventory management protocols
- Facilitate waybilling functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of waybills and other essential documentation for operational efficiency
- Maintain up-to-date service exception logs across Canada and the U.S., identifying and reporting any discrepancies or issues for immediate resolution
- Generate and analyze performance scorecards, publishing Industry Service Summary reports based on collected data to evaluate service delivery against customer expectations
- Collaborate closely with trainmasters, issuing precise work orders to crews and offering immediate feedback and recommendations for process improvements to management
- Perform additional transactional work and duties as required, ensuring comprehensive support across all operational areas

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Strong analytical skills complemented by outstanding organizational capabilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with proven problem-solving abilities
- Proven flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, 24/7 operational environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Outlook, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and systems
- Post-secondary education is preferred; relevant experience in transportation, logistics, or a related field is highly beneficial
- A results-driven approach with a commitment to teamwork and professional development

**Management Conductor Program**:
Becoming a qualified conductor or locomotive engineer is the single best way for a management employee to learn the business at CPKC. You may be required to obtain a certification or to maintain your current certification/qualification as a conductor or locomotive engineer. (Canada and US all Non-Union positions only)
