**Primary Role**:
The faculty of Management Information Systems, as part of the Bachelor of Business Administration program, has a very important role to play. The Faculty is expected to understand that the effective performance of duties requires the highest level of integrity and ASM’s complete confidence in the faculty’s relationship with other employees, students and with all persons with whom the Faculty interacts in the course of employment. The Faculty has a corresponding duty of care and loyalty to ensure that they conduct themselves in a professional, ethical and businesslike manner at all times.

**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**:

- Creating engaging lessons on the required course topics
- Coaching students, managing their performance and ensuring their success
- Managing in-class activities
- Timely marking and feedback for all student submissions
- Timely response to student inquiries and comments

This role will require the incumbent to perform the duties on site/on campus or in the physical office. At the direction of the company, this role may from time to time be required to work remotely, (away from the physical office location). Regardless of work location key targets, tasks, goals and projects must be delivered in accordance with position description and area or entity OGSM (Objective, Goals, Strategies and Measures).

**Qualifications, Experience & Technical Skills**:
**1. Knowledge and Qualification**
- At least an earned Master’s Degree (preferably a Doctorate degree) in the area of Computer Based Management Information Systems, System Security Management, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, System Development, Technology Enabled Business Process Management, or a related discipline field.
- Knowledgeable in Information-Security Risk Management, Vulnerability Analysis, Penetration Testing, Audit Trail Analysis, System and Network Monitoring, And Configuration Management
- Knowledgeable in company-wide security plans and policies, guidelines and models for writing policies and deploy appropriate safeguards (models, mechanisms, and tools), Information Security Governance Framework (The ISO 27000 Series, COSO, COBIT, ITIL.)
- Knowledgeable in Software Engineering, Systems Development, Object-Oriented tools, and frameworks to design a software system, Use Case Analysis, System Modelling, User Interface Design, Architectural design
- Knowledgeable in Database Management, Performance Requirements, Security Requirements, Integration Tests, System Tests, Design and Implementation, System Quality Management
- Knowledgeable in System Configuration Management, Unified Modelling Language (UML), and various programming languages and Application Programming Interfaces (API)
- Knowledgeable in Technology-Enhanced Management, Business Process Management, Advanced Process Modelling (Value Stream Mapping, Time Function Mapping, & Flow Layouts, Process Redesign (Swimlane, Improvement Frameworks-PDCA, DRIVE, DMAIC),
- Knowledgeable in Process Implementation with executable models (ERP, EAI, CRM), and Process Monitoring and Process-Aware Information Systems
- Knowledgeable in E- business Plan and Operations, E-commerce Infrastructure, E-commerce Business Strategies, Business to Business E-commerce, E-commerce Website Development
- Knowledgeable in E- Payment Systems, E- commerce Analytics and Analytical Tools, E-commerce Marketing and Advertising Concepts, Marketplace Business Model and Online Retailing and Services
- Significant industry experience in a related discipline field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching courses (preferably 5+ years) in a related program; online or blended delivery is an asset.
