**Focus Auto Body & Glass** has the opportunity for a special high-performance individual to join its management team in the role of **Assistant Body Shop Manager**.

Focus Auto Body & Glass, located at 30 Stapleton Street, just off Nairn Avenue, is a small body shop that’s big on quality. When joining our team, you join a family of Focus Hyundai employees with the best management team in the business
- In this position, you will be responsible for the following_:

- Responsible for working with technicians, collision estimators, and the Focus Hyundai Parts department to provide the highest-quality service to our valued customers.
- Review the vehicle with the customer to understand what has taken place to cause the damage.
- Review synopsis provided by the insurance company, if available.
- Assess/analyze the vehicle damage including taking all required photographs (interior and exterior).
- Advise the customer of the findings of the assessment and the next steps.
- Prepare a thorough and accurate repair estimate using Mitchell estimating programs.
- Complete and submit repair estimates to insurance companies in accordance to the insurance criteria.
- Prepare and submit supplements to the insurance company based on the discovery of hidden damage.
- Order or coordinate the ordering of parts.
- Communicate to customers, MPI and customer service representatives throughout the repair process.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proven problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge and understanding of the collision repair process.
- Collision Repair Centre, and Mitchell training would be considered an asset.
- Experience with Manitoba Public Insurance Corporation policies and procedures

**Salary**: $40,000 to $52,000 per year, based on experience
