The Body Shop Manager is responsible for all operations and controls ensuring the timely completion of all repairs and seamless delivery to the customer. This position plays an integral role in achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction during the repair process and manages a team of skilled Body Shop Technicians, focusing on efficiency and customer satisfaction.
**BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE POSITIONS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
The Body Shop Manager will be responsible for all operations of a medium-sized collision repair facility. **This will include but is not be limited to**:
- Provide leadership, mentorship and, when required, progressive discipline to a team of Body Shop Technicians.
- Provide training for all staff when required.
- Ensure all WSH policies, procedures and processes are being followed and facilitate Health & Safety and staff meetings when required.
- Prepare and manage the annual and monthly operating budget of the Body Shop.
- Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expense objectives.
- Deliver formal annual performance reviews.
- Review all A/P and A/R relating to the Body Shop.
- Maintain a clean and organized shop at all times.
- Monitor all maintenance required for all shop equipment, including the paint booths.
- Conduct and coordinate shop meetings/walks to confirm through-put and delivery dates.
- Manage all estimates to ensure labour mix is within established standards.
**EXPERIENCE, REQUIRED SKILLS, TRAINING AND LICENCES**
- Required: 3 years using Mitchell Connect.
- Required: 3 years using RPS Parts Program.
- Required: Knowledge of MPI claims processing and procedures.
- Required: 5 years in the Body Shop Repair experience.
- Required: A valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a personal vehicle.
