**Who you are**:
You are a CPA designated professional who is a driven, motivated, self directed and detail-oriented leader with proven work experience in senior accounting, finance or related field within the construction industry. You have advanced knowledge of full cycle accounting, reporting, accounts payable, project accounting and progress draws.

Ideally, you have experience with Sage 300 CRE and Timberscan, as well as advanced MS Excel skills.

In your role as Controller, you will be responsible for the following:
Accounting/Finance
- Prepare and review financial statements (BS, IS, CashFlow, Revenue Projections)
- Maintaining working papers monthly - GL Reconciliation
- Cantera and Project Account Reconciliation
- Creating yearly budget and updating semi-annual forecast
- Bank Reconciliation
- Bank Transfers - Project Accounts
- Government Filing - tax installments, GST remittances, WCB remittances
- Prepare Year-end file for external accountants.
- Amortization Report
- Close/Open reporting periods
- Miscellaneous reporting (e.g., fuel logs, progress reports, utilization reports)

**Project Accounting**:

- Monthly project billing
- Client reporting (i.e., bank reports, project control reports, summary reports)
- Review and approval of project invoices
- AR Collections - Client statements
- Bi-Monthly cheque printing
- PCR reporting - updating and producing reports
- Review estimate and miscellaneous reports for construction team

**Payroll**:

- Bi-weekly payroll
- Maintaining timesheets in SiteMax
- Government Payroll Remittance
- Yearly T4 filing
