**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Process and record accounts receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Manage customer accounts, including invoicing, payment processing, and account analysis.
- Utilize accounting software such as NewViews for data entry and financial reporting.
- Communicate with customers regarding outstanding invoices and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Perform regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Maintain organized records of all transactions and customer communications.
- Assist with month-end closing processes related to accounts receivable.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, PeopleSoft) and Excel is highly desirable.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports as needed.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A basic understanding of accounting principles is preferred but not required.
