**Overview**

FT has a new Mechanical building that is under renovation to be completed in spring.

This is a steady and consistent schedule. 5 days a week 10 hour shifts. All stat holidays off as well flexible to discuss holiday time.

We have two talented apprentices in their 3rd and 4th periods and a Service Manager that assists in taking care of all our FT heavy equipment and crushing equipment.

**Duties**
- Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics to ensure accurate repairs.
- Conduct repairs on diesel engines, transmissions and all mechanical needs to maintain equipment and vehicle safety.
- Collaborate with team members and Service Manager for projects.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on equipment and vehicles and collaborate with the Service Manager.
- The ability to stop and assess risk analysis and ask questions to protect the company.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a mechanic with a focus on heavy-duty off-road vehicles.
- Flexibility to work on FT's on Road trucks and trailers and be a part of the decision if a On Road Heavy Duty Mechanic is also needed.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed however schedule can be discussed in more detail at the interview. Aiming for 5 days a week 45-55 hours per week.

Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
