The ideal candidate is safety conscious, detail orientated and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Key ResponsibilitiesComplete or assist in the completion of CVIPS, inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on trucks, trailers, loaders, dozers and a variety road construction equipment.Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical issues.Complete preventative, planned and unplanned maintenance, including overhauls and testing of mechanical and electronic components according to company standards. Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.Operate from a service truck for field repairs as required, including occasional overnight stays.Participate as a vital team member and contribute towards the success of the organization, which may involve other areas of technical and field support as required.Perform duties in a safe, timely and cost-efficient manner.QualificationsAlberta HET certification or minimum 3rd year apprentice or out of province HET certification with Interprovincial Red Seal.Required to provide and maintain a personal set of professional tools.Basic Welding knowledge and skills (welding certificate is an asset).Licensed CVIP certification.Strong attention to detail.Self-starter who easily adapts between independent and team work environments.Ability to multitask and shift priorities as required.Able to perform physically demanding tasks in a variety of work conditions.Comfortable using computers and digital tools.Minimum Class 5 license with clean abstract (valid Class 1 License is an asset).Job Posted by ApplicantPro
